“A 34-year-old man attended a central London police station this morning by appointment. He was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He currently remains in custody.”

This is the statement being made by British police today regarding Christian Bale currently being in custody.

Bale is alleged to have lashed out in his suite at Park Lane’s Dorchester Hotel on Sunday.

According to Sky News, Bale’s mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, went to police on Monday to make a formal allegation against Bale. The complaint about the actor was then passed to the Metropolitan Police for further investigation.

Well this is some interesting news and it couldn’t have come at a worse time. I hope that whatever happened is resolved and if Bale really did something like this then I am disappointed in him, especially since he has always protected his family and been private about his personal life and then goes and does something like this. I hope whatever happens that it is fair.

According to Reuters, Christian Bale, has been released on bail by British police after being questioned on the allegations of assault.

These reports haven’t been confirmed by his US reps yet but it is being said by British police that:

“A 34-year-old man has been bailed to return to a police station on a date in September.”

So guess he isn’t clear yet. You see this is what happens when you let fame and fortune go to your head and you stay out late looking for kicks and you end beating up your mom and sister. I wonder what his father would say?
