Riddick sequel talk

In an interview with MTV, Vin Diesel said that writer-director David Twohy is currently working on the scripts, and that the “only question” is whether they will be shot together, LoTR-style, or as two separate productions. Why did it take so long? No money problems, Diesel insists — they just want to get it right. This was, after all, envisioned as a trilogy, with Pitch Black acting as a stand-alone companion film.

I think they should have stopped at Pitch Black, I really think they had lightening in a bottle with that movie and with all these sequels they are just diluting the awesomeness that was Riddick’s character in Pitch Black.

  1. The character was more awesome in the Chronicles of Riddick. If you doubt this… you would be… WRONG!

The thing with the sequels will most likely never happen. Nice of Vin to dream. That’s a good thing.
