Philip Seymore Hoffman and Johnny Depp confirmed by Caine for Batman 3!

“I was with [a Warner Bros.] executive and I said, ‘Are we going to make [a sequel to The Dark Knight]?’ They said yeah. I said, ‘How the hell are we going to top Heath? And he says ‘I’ll tell you how you top Heath — Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Philip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.’ I said, ‘Shit, they’ve done it again!’” [Laughs]
This is a quote from Micheal Caine, the first person within the Batman franchise, to comment on a sequel and casting rumors. I see Press Releases and statements being made right now over at the WB studios in regards to this. The quote comes from none other than an interview with the MTV Splashpage, where we read the Captain America rumor of Will Smith.
Assuming this is true…we at Fused Film were totally right! So we shall rub in faces! HAHA!
Warners can do better than those two. The characters name is BLACK MASK, and he has earned the right to be on film. There was an underground street-fight that no one wants to talk about, but it did happen. IT DID HAPPEN.
